That series is meant to show how the objects and minutiae that we selectively curate and surround ourselves with in turn become representative of our self. All of the photos in Pass are exactly this - items and objects that i have shaped around my own personality and expression of myself, and in documentation attempted to render my likeness through an arbitary and removed collection of items.

I saw something where the painter Dexter Dalwood called out the unwritten law that you aren’t supposed to make art purely about things you are interested in; I think it is something like that…they are a collection of objects and items that i have a connection with…and in their monochromatic, whited-out nature they are open to interpretation, meaning you can form your own personal connections or relate with them at will.
